What happens after the first year?

Hosting is included for the first year. An annual subscription then takes over: hosting, support and updates.

A visitor follows her route on the 3D map

Find your way

Once location access is allowed, visitors see their position on the 3D map. They pick a place and the map draws the route from where they are standing.

The map turns, zooms and recentres with a simple gesture. Buildings and landmarks in relief make it far easier to get your bearings than a flat plan.

Good to know: outdoors, accuracy depends on the phone's GPS, usually within a few metres. Inside a building it drops, and the map then relies on visible landmarks.

  • Visitor's position on the map
  • Route drawn to the chosen place
  • 3D view you can turn and zoom
  • No app to install
Searching for a place on the interactive map

Search

Visitors type a few letters and the map suggests matching places. They can also browse categories (food, toilets, rides, shops, services) or the full list of points of interest.

Filters narrow the search using the categories set up for your venue, so visitors only see what interests them.

Tapping a result centres the map on the place and opens its information card, with the route to get there.

  • Search by name
  • Categories and list of places
  • Filters tailored to your venue
  • Result shown on the map
Information card with photo and opening times

Everything about a place

Each point of interest opens a clear information card: a photo, a short description, opening times and available services.

The card can link to a page on your website, a menu, a booking or a contact. It is shown in the visitor's language.

You edit the cards yourself from your management area.

  • Photo and description
  • Opening times and services
  • Link to a website or contact
  • Route to get there
Today's programme next to a stage

Today's programme

Shows, activities and meet-ups appear hour by hour, each one placed on the map where it happens.

Visitors see what is starting soon and can head straight there. Depending on your map's options, they can also ask for a reminder before it starts.

A time changes? You update it from your area and the programme is up to date for everyone.

  • Hour-by-hour programme
  • Each activity placed on the map
  • Route to the show
  • Updated by your team
Group members shown on the map

Find your group

One person creates a group and shares its code. Everyone who joins appears on the map with their first name and colour.

You can see where the others are and meet up more easily, without endless phone calls. No account needed.

Everyone chooses to join the group and can leave it at any time.

  • Group code to share
  • First name and colour on the map
  • No sign-up
  • Leave the group in one tap
The same map in French, English and German

Everyone in their own language

The map detects the phone's language and automatically displays the right one, among those you have enabled. Visitors can also switch at any time.

French is included. Other languages can be added as options: English, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish.

Information cards, the programme and categories follow the chosen language.

  • Automatic detection
  • Switch language in one tap
  • French included
  • Other languages as options
A change made on a computer reaches visitors' phones

Your management area

You get access to your online area. From a computer, you edit points of interest, text, photos, opening times and today's programme.

Changes are visible to visitors as soon as you save them. The QR code stays the same: nothing to reprint, even when the season changes.

You can highlight a place or hide it temporarily, for example a ride under maintenance. For bigger changes, such as a new building in 3D, Cartomapix takes care of it.

  • Access to your online area
  • Changes visible straight away
  • Places highlighted or hidden
  • The same QR code all year round
